Food Safety and Quality Assurance

At Inovata Foods we believe the first priority and responsibility as a food manufacturer is to exceed standards and undertake every action possible to ensure products are produced safely.

Stringent quality standards are developed for each product Inovata Foods manufactures. We continually monitor our production process to ensure our procedures meet or exceed established standards. 

We follow strict codes of practice as regulated by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA). The food quality system we operate within is HACCP (Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point), an internationally recognized system of food safety management. HACCP compliance is recognized as the most effective way for food manufacturers to ensure consumer protection.

Our in-house microbiological testing facility continually tests all products produced to ensure food safety. Our testing protocols exceed established national guidelines.

In addition to being inspected by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, Inovata Foods is also audited by the United States Department of Agriculture, Guelph Food Technology (Gold Rating) and the American Institute of Baking (Superior Rating).

To further assure consumer safety and protection, we have recently installed an x-ray system. Inovata Foods is one of the few meal manufacturing companies in North America which x-rays each meal produced. This provides an added level of confidence for our customers that foreign matter does not get into the marketplace.
